Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal celebrates Foundation Day

JAMMU, Apr 30: Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Prant, in collaboration with Central University of Jammu and Government College for Women, Parade, Jammu, celebrated the 55th foundation day of Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal.
Prof Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, and president Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal, Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Prant, released the poster for Research Paper Writing Competition.
Prof Minu Mahajan, BOPEE Chairman was the chief guest of the event whereas Brig (Retd) Rohit Kumar, Dr Jaspal Kaur, Akhil Bhartiya Yuva Ayam, She Pramukh of BSM; Islam Khan, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan; Swami Yagyardhra Nandji, Sachiv, Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu were guests of honour.
Prof Sandhya Tiwari, Dean, School of Languages, Central University of Kashmir delivered the special talk on Research for Resurgence. The program began with the recitation of Mission statement of Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal and Saraswati Pujan followed by the formal welcome address by the Vice President of Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Prant, Prof Vandana Sharma who gave an overview of the five fold framework of the activities of BSM pertaining research, awareness, orientation, training and team building. Moreover, Prof Sharma introduced the research paper writing competition on Vision for Viksit Bharat for students and scholars at national level.
Prof Minu Mahajan lauded the efforts of BSM JKLP in organising events to raise awareness about the Indianisation of Teaching and Research.
The keynote speaker Prof Sandhya Tiwari dwelt at the significance for research for resurgence in India. Dr Jaspal Kaur gave a detailed overview of the idea objectives and rules and regulations underscoring the methodology of research paper writing competition. Swami Yagyadhra Nand ji made an enlightening address about vision for Viksit Bharat vis a vis teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Islam Khan underscored the relevance of value education to be imparted to the youth of India for Viksit Bharat. Brig Rohit made an exhaustive presentation about what vision for Viksit Bharat entails.
Dr Neelika Arora, Associate Professor, Central University of Jammu presented the formal vote of thanks and Dr Vandana Sharma, Dept of Hindi, conducted the proceedings.
Dr Sham Singh Kotwal, Pramukh Yuva Ayam, JKLP, Anirudh PrantVistarak, Prof Bharat Bhushan and various other members attended the celebrations.
