Bharat Scouts & Guides organizes interaction prog

JAMMU, June 26:  The Jammu and Kashmir Bharat Scouts  and Guides, organized one day interaction  programme for getting feed to make improvement in its functioning.
Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch, Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion while founder member, Kiran Wattal presided over the programme.
The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp and presentation with bouquets  and scarves to the dignitaries. The speakers including scouts and guides came out with many valuable suggestions for making further improvement in the system as per the wishes and aspirations of founder of the movement, Lord Baden Powell.
MM Joshi, State Public Relations Commissioner, BS&G – a man with commitment, sincerity   and vision in his welcome address urged to see that this noble movement gets due recognition in the State. He also spoke on the scope of improvement in certain areas.
The chief guest   was highly impressed by the activities of the movement  and blessed the participants. He stressed that loyalty to country is of the highest value for keeping man’s views balanced  and in proper perspective.   He assured full cooperation to the movement  and wished that scouting/ guiding being excellent material should spread in all corners of the State speedily.
Director School Education in his address  said that World Association is an educational organizations based on spiritual values and open  to all girls and boys without discrimination  and is trying its best to provide character building  and man making education through this non-formal system in most commendable manner.
Several other speakers also expressed their views on the occasion.
