JAMMU, Nov 19: Bharat Darshan tour organized by Border Security Force (BSF) for 35 old age persons hailing from remote areas of Jammu Region concluded today.
In a colorful closing ceremony organized at Frontier HQ BSF Paloura Jammu, Hardeep Singh, DIG/PSO BSF Jammu and other BSF officials welcomed the participants and interacted with them.
This capacity building tour was flagged off on November 12, 2019.
As part of confidence building measures, the old age persons hailing from remote border areas of Jammu Region enjoyed the visit to various historical and cultural places of Delhi, Jaipur and Amritsar i.e Akshar Dham, Connaught Place, Humanyun Tomb, Lal Qilla, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, IGI Airport, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, National Zoological Park, Rajghat in New Delhi and Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, various old historical places in Jaipur and Golden Temple in Amritsar also.
They also got the opportunity to witness spectacular Wagha Parade by BSF at Atari-Wagha Border.
The tour was organized by BSF Jammu to give opportunity to see the diversity of our nation and to widen their horizons.
