SRINAGAR, Oct 2: Police today said it along with the locals destroyed bhang cultivation in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police spokesman said the cops along with the locals destroyed bhang cultivation spread over 128 kanals of land in Melhura, Wandina, Wachi, Darbagh and Zahidbagh villages and along the banks of river Vishu in the district.
“Police will continue its destruction drive of bhang cultivation till the area is cleared from the menace,” the spokesman added.
