Bhandaras organized in Jammu, other distts for Amarnath pilgrims

JAMMU, June 30: As 46-day annual pilgrimage to holy shrine of Baba Amarnath Ji commenced today, various social and religious organizations, like every year, organized bhandaras for the pilgrims in various parts of Jammu, besides Samba and Kathua districts.
Former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga, today inaugurated a Langar facility for pilgrims at Rameshwar Dhaam, Tarore, Vijaypur in Samba district. Ganga said that this is 8th langar being organized for the yatries of Shri Amarnathji by Swami Parkashanandji of Rameshwar Dhaam.
Ganga appreciated the organisers for ensuring adequate facilities of water, power, toilets and washrooms in a clean and hygienic atmosphere which is real service towards the humans and the humanity. He also asked the pilgrims to make proper use of these facilities and help the langar organisers in maintaining these services. He extended warm wishes to the devotees for a safe and comfortable pilgrimage.
At Geeta Bhawan, Jammu, the langar facility was started yesterday for ‘Sadhus’ and other pilgrims by Baba Amarnath and Buda Amarnath Yatri Niwas. The langar was inaugurated by Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who was the chief guest on the occasion while Leela Karan Sharma, president VHP, J&K was guest of honor. After performing Pooja, Deep Pravajalan and chanting of Vedic Mantras and Bam Bam Bhole, the Langar was started. The Langar shall remain in service for the whole Yatra period.
Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) organized bhandara for the pilgrims at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalimar Road, Jammu. Romesh Chander Gupta, president of the Sabha, inaugurated the bhandara. Om Prakash, Langar incharge, informed that this langar facility would be provided throughout the Amarnath Yatra. The occasion was graced by Jammu Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, Jugal Mahajan, chief patron, Yash Paul Gupta (ex-persident, JCMS) and other members of the Sabha.
Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Samiti, J&K organized a bhandara at Railway Station Jammu. The bhandara was inaugurated by Ghanshyam Shastri in the presence of Bhupendra Shahsri and Janak Raj Shastri, in an impressive ceremony. Sunil Sharma, co-ordinatorof the Samiti said that there is adequate arrangement of food for the pilgrims visiting from various states of the Country. Spokesperson of the Samiti informed that the bhandara will continue till the end of the holy pilgrimage.
Bhandara facility for the Amarnath pilgrims was also started today at Aggarwal Sabha, Vivekananda Chowk, Jammu. The bhandara was inaugurated by Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner, accompanied by Jammu Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta in the presence of ex-MLA Rajesh Gupta, Mahant 1008 Rameshwar Dass and others. The bhandara will last till the conclusion of the 46-day Yatra.
ACR Kathua Devinder Singh, SSP Shiv Dev Singh, former MLC Subash Chander Gupta and president Baba Barfani Sewa Mandal Moga Chander Shekhar Sood jointly inaugurated bhandara at National Highway, Kishanpur Kandi (Chann Arorian), in Kathua district on Sunday. On the occasion, a newly constructed temple where idols of Shiv, Parvati, Ganesh, Nandi, and eleven Lingam, Hanuman, and other Gods has been established, was also inaugurated.
Mahesh Chopra along with his team of Shri Bala Ji Sankirtan Mandal Moga, presented attractive tableau to Lord Shiva and sung Bhajans of Baba Barfani, Maa Vaishno Devi, and Lord Krishna. “The organization has been providing food, tea, breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and accommodation along with washrooms 24 hours at free of cost,” vice-president of Baba Barfani Sewa Mandal Moga said.
