JAMMU, Mar 1: Former Minister and Congress State vice president Raman Bhalla has said that youth of J&K should create their own jobs because BJP government at Center has completely failed to provide jobs to the youth.
“The government, which promised 2 crore jobs every year has played with the youth,” he claimed adding that the youth will now teach this government a lesson in upcoming elections in five States.
Bhalla said the way unemployment is on rise is a matter of concern.
He was talking to reporters after inaugurating a boutique ‘Bend for Trend’ in Gandhi Nagar on Monday.
He lauded Bhavna Sharma for opening the boutique and said many people will get employment there.
He appealed the youth not to wait for government to provide them a job.
Satish Sharma, former chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation, said that there is no lack of talent and skill in the youth of J&K but these youth are not getting any support from the government.
“The government should bring big industries in J&K to reduce unemployment here,” he maintained.
A large number of dignitaries were present on the occasion which included Congress youth leader Sumanpreet Singh, Lucky Singh, Sanjay Sharma and others.
