JAMMU, Apr 15: Various organizations have strongly condemned the hoisting of Pak flags by hardliner Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and separatist leader Masrat Alam in Sringar today and demanded their immediate arrest.
In a statement issued here today former Minister and general secretary PCC Raman Bhalla has strongly condemned the separatists’ action and accused the Government for its failure in roping the separatists and anti national elements in the State.
Mr Bhalla said that Government should deal with Hurriyat and other separatist leaders with iron hands as people will not tolerate their anti national tirade and activities.
He demanded the duo be charged under Sedition Act and be put behind the bars. Bhalla asked the nationalist forces to unite and defeat the designs of separatists and anti national elements. He also criticized the BJP which had made tall claims of crushing the secessionist forces with iron hands of its failure in this regard and alleged that secessionist forces and militants got a lease of life during last 10 months rule of BJP at Centre.
BJP MLA Ravinder Raina has also strongly condemned the unfurling of Pak flags by Geelani and Masrat Alam in Srinagar today and demanded that the duo be arrested immediately.
Raina said BJP will not tolerate such actions of separatists and in case Geelani is so fond of Pakistan he should be forcibly thrown across the border as there is no place like Geelani and Masrat Alam in India.
Raina also demanded that the separatist leaders security be withdrawn immediately and they should be exposed before the masses. Terming the separatists as great exploiters, he said people should isolate them as they are responsible for the present plight of the masses in the State.
