Bhalla assails BJP for its silence on public issues

JAMMU, July 26: Working president of JKPCC, Raman Bhalla has lashed out at the BJP for being mute spectator to the plight of common man faced by them on daily basis.
Addressing workers meeting in Jammu East Constituency (Ward-19) in Chand Nagar in presence of JKPCC vice president Yogesh Sawhney, treasurer Rajnish Sharma Mian, and District president Manmohan Singh, Bhalla said that BJP has failed to safeguard the rights and represent the voice of people despite getting votes on false promises. The people are facing great hardships on various fronts under the bureaucratic regime as there is no one to listen to the problem of common & poor man.
Bhalla said that people are being fleeced under various taxes , smart meters but there is no regular supplies of power in metered areas also in this scorching heat. People are being made to pay from their nose while the loans in crorrs of rich people are being waived off by Modi Government.
He said the people want restoration of statehood but BJP Government has further snatched the democratic rights of people from elected Government and vested the powers in Lt Governor. This is cruel joke with people of J&K for which all people must get united to get restored their rights and oust BJP from Power.
Former Minister Yogesh Sawhney said that Congress will fight tooth and nail the dictatorship policies of BJP and Modi Government and party has already launched a struggle for restoration of statehood with full powers immediately. People should join the movement and all like minded parties who are for the restoration of the rights of people should come together.
Vice president and treasurer JKPCC Rajnish Sharma and DCC president Th Manmohan Singh said that Congress shall not rest till the state is restored and people are given their democratic rights. People are suffering a lot due to inflated and exorbitant bills of power while there are frequent power cuts. Several Congress leaders of District Congress (Urban) Unit including Block presidents spoke on the issues faced by people.
