Bhagwati Nagar bridge has been closed for traffic putting motorists to inconvenience. It is noteworthy that hundreds of vehicles are otherwise using this bridge every day.While the endeavour of the traffic Police and the authorities should have been aimed at making roads free of long jams and the resultant confusion, the picture appears to be on the contrary.
No doubt at certain roads, erecting road dividers by the Traffic authorities have disciplined and somewhat regulated the movement of traffic but that is not enough.With the arrival of pilgrims in large numbers at Amar Nath Yatra Bhawan at Bhagwati Nagar, they feel difficulties in reaching there as they have to take long routes to reach there.While it is learnt that it was likely to take some more time for re-opening the bridge, it is hoped that it will be done during the ongoing of the yatra itself.
