KISHTWAR,  June 28: Villagers from Bhagran and Changawari area of Inderwal in district Kishtwar have  expressed strong resentment over the change of alignment of a PMGSY road in the area.
The villagers alleged that the a link road from Karool to Badhat under PMGSY was sanctioned in 2009 and for the same the survey was performed covering villages,  Bhagran and Changawari having population of over 350-400 souls.  The then Tehsildar and his staff besides other officials had also  visited the area and  asked the villagers not to raise any construction along the alignment area. But unfortunately after the wait of over seven years, the alignment of the road was changed with the political influence  and the people of these two villages were left  to suffer.
The villagers approached DC Kishtwar and even the MLA,  G M Saroori but nothing has been done in this regard. They have sought the intervention of Minister  for R&B, Abdul Rehman Veeri  into the matter.
