Bhagat Mahasabha celebrates 127th birthday of Dr Ambedkar

JAMMU, Apr 15: Bhagat Mahasabha celebrated 127 birthday of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Muthi, here today.
In an impressive function, floral tributes were paid to the founding father of Indian Constitution wherein prominent people from distinguished social organizations especially employee class attended the function in large number.
Bhusan Dogra, Vice Chairperson, SC Advisory Board J&K Govt was the chief guest and Prof Raj Kumar Bhagat, National president Bhagat Mahasabha was guest of honour.
Prof Bhagat threw light on the struggle of Baba Saheb for the betterment of down trodden and deprived people.
He also highlighted his service towards the ‘dalits’, which he said will be remembered for all times to come.
Er Pawan Bhagat, chairperson Bhagat Mahasabha J&K Unit appealed the  SC community to wake up and work together against the mafia trying to hit the reservation benefits.
Mahinder Bhagat expressed concern over the abrupt rise in the atrocities on the SC people in the present regime.
While describing the Baba Sahab Bodh Raj Bhagat, National Vice President said best way to remember Baba Saheb is to strengthen amity and working towards realization  of his dream of a society where every segment of population enjoy equal opportunities of progress and development. Tarsem Bhagat also spoke on the occasion.
Prominent among others present in the function were Jai Bhagat, Darshan Lal Bhagat, Vivak Bhagat, Sanesh Bhagat, Sansar Chand Bhagat, Susheel Bhagat, Tilak Raj Bhagat and Jagdish Raj Bhagat.
