JAMMU, Dec 29: MLA RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat along with ZEO RS Pura, Sanitary Inspector and other concerned officials visited ZEO office, AEO office and BDO office of RS Pura and inspected ongoing construction works.
At ZEO office, Dr Gagan Bhagat ordered suspension of work of boundary wall under SSA, as the concerned contractor was using sub-standard material and low quality bricks.
While talking to the media, Dr Gagan Bhagat said that he was receiving complaints from the locals that the contractor was using sub-standard material and hence he decided to verify the facts by visiting the spot.
Later, MLA RS Pura also visited BDO office and AEO office, and directed the concerned officials to maintain cleanliness in the campus. EO, Municipality, RS Pura was also directed to lift the garbage from the concerned pick up points before 10 am.
