JAMMU, Sept 9: MLA RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat, today started a series of developmental works at Panchayat Chohala and Panchayat Phinder with the inauguration of lane-drain works at Village Chohala.
The lane-drain works inaugurated at Village Chohala will eventually benefit about 200 souls of the area and this will also ensure proper drainage facilities to the people of Village Chohala who were living in shabby condition for a very long time.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Dr Gagan Bhagat assured the people of accomplishing every possible developmental initiative which could help in making their lives comfortable and worth living and reiterated his pledge to ensure quality work. He said that the developmental works will gain momentum and the works which were not conducted in the last 10 years will be done in his tenure.
Dr Bhagat also inaugurated another lane and drain at Village Phinder which was a long pending demand of the Radha Krishan Mandir Committee. The MLA also assured all round development activities in the Panchayat and ensured that there were will consistency of the developmental works in his tenure.
He also assured early macadamization of Kullian-Laswara Road within few days which he had promised during his election campaign.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included BDO RS Pura, Sanchi Mishra, AEE and JE of RDD, Gram Sewak, Dev Raj Sharma, Sarpanch, Mulakh Raj and Naib Sarpanch, Ashok Salaria.
