JAMMU, Jan 14: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) RS Pura and Political Advisor to State BJP President, Dr Gagan Bhagat and along with Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu Soujanya Sharma, inaugurated ultra deluxe toilet complex near Revenue Office at RS Pura.
While addressing the gathering in a programme organized by the World Sanitation and Environment, Dr Bhagat said that an amount of Rs 14 lakh has been spent in the construction of this toilet complex.
He added that the Union Government has been working overnight and is very much concerned about Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the people to avail the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes.
Dr Bhagat said that the new crop insurance policy by the Central Government will provide direct benefits to the farmers during any natural calamity.
He said that the black-topping in the municipal wards of RS Pura has been completed and more developmental works will be carried out in future also for the benefit of the masses.
While elaborating “Koushal Bharat-Kushal Bharat” initiative, Dr Gagan said that in the next month there will a centre for skill development at RS Pura and youths will be taught to earn their livelihood through their talent.
Director Urban Local bodies Soujanya Sharma said that Dr Gagan Bhagat has been constantly in touch with him since last few months and they have prepared a detailed developmental plan for the RS Pura.
Among others present were Chairman, World Sanitation and Environment Committee Mr Jha, SDM RS Pura, Tehsildar RS Pura, EO Jodhraj, SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, Karan Bhagat, Brijesh Rana, Inder Sudan, Natharam, Advocate Sangra, Vijay Kumar and Rajesh Babbu.
