Kathua, Feb 3: In a programme organized by the BJP office bearers Kathua unit SC Morcha, senior leader of BJP T R Bhagat was entrusted with new responsibility as vice president of Bhartiya Janta Party SC Morcha Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory by Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, President SC Morcha BJP J&K UT.
Bhagat is a former Chief Engineer and has worked in various capacities in UT administration.
Prominent among those present in the function were Rakesh Sangral general secretary, Mohinder Bhagat, vice president and Dev Raj vice president. Other office bearers namely Dev Raj president SC Morcha Kathua, Anil Kumar vice president, Lalit Kangla president city Mandal, Parshotam Singh president Nagri Mandal, Suraj Sailiya, general secretary, Dr. Gundeep district general secretary, Roshan Hansa, president Mandal Marheen and Vinodh Kumar vice president Kathua were also present.
In order to boost the activities of SC Morcha and to further strengthen BJP, certain instructions were issued to all the office bearers by Garu Ram. While showing full faith over the working of SC Morcha office bearers in general and TR Bhagat in particular, he advised the party bearers to put sincere efforts and to work with a sense of responsibility.
Under the leadership of TR Bhagat many prominent persons of Kathua namely Subash Chander, Surjit Kumar, Bui Lal, Jia Lal, Ashok Kumar, Puran Chand, Darshan Kumar, Shiv Kumar, and Sudhanshu Kumar joined BJP in presence of Gharu Ram Bhagat.
Bhagat assured the party bearers that he will work for the strengthening of the party with full dedication.
