JAMMU, Sept 9: Following natural calamity in the State, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) teachers have deferred their indefinite strike till September 16.
In a press statement, Mir Aijaz, president of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Teaching Association has said that whole State has been engulfed by natural calamity and there is huge loss of lives and property. So, on humanitarian ground, we have decided to defer our strike till September 16, 2014.
He said the Association condoled the demise of people who lost lives in the flash floods.
Pertinent to mention here that the teaching fraternity of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has expressed disappointment with University Administration with regard to unnecessary delay in implementing of approval by Vice-Chancellor Order No BGSBU/ Reg/Estab/13/7290-7305 dated Sept 2, 2013.
