RAJOURI, Sept 10: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University which was closed by the Vice Chancellor on August 25 following strike and protests by the students, will resume its normal work from September 12.
Sources in the Varsity said that as per the order No. BGSBU/Estad/15/5594-56 dated 9-9-2015, the Vice Chancellor, I A Hamal has directed the resumption of routine class work of all the PG classes in the University from September 12. The order is silent about the B.Tech and other Graduate courses. The classes of the B.Tech and other courses are expected to be commenced from next week.
Meanwhile, the SIT reconstituted by the SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal is working on the case related to scholarship scam and also quizzed some staff members of the university. But the members refused to share the details and said that the investigation has been reached in the advanced stage and some more things will come to light shortly.
