BG Trust celebrates Bal Divas

JAMMU, Dec 25: To commemorate the visit of Bhagawaanji’s Australian devotees to Kharyar, Srinagar, Kashmir Ashram in December 1978, Bhagawaan Gopinathji (BG) Trust today observed ‘Bal Divas’ and organized a function at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaiwala (Bohri), here to celebrate the occasion.
The day was previously being observed as Simriti Divas. Around 1500 children irrespective of any religious and social barrier participated in the function and were presented with gifts and sweets.
The function started at 10 in the morning with Bhagawaanji’s Aarti.
Later, SK Turki spoke at length on the life and teachings of Bhagawaanji and exhorted them to imbibe the qualities of “Sezar, Pazer, and Shozar” i.e. simplicity, truthfulness and purity, as emphasized by Bhagawaanji. Dr Sushil Wattal also spoke on the occasion.
Children also expressed themselves by reciting Gayatri Mantra, Bhajans, Dohe, Patriotic Songs, Maha-Mritunjaya Mantra, Mata-Ka-Shalok etc on the occasion. The children were presented gifts on the occasion comprising note-books, pencils, candies etc.
The day was also celebrated at Bhagawaan Gopinathji’s Ashrams at Pamposh Enclave, New Delhi, Srinagar, Pune and various other places across the country and abroad.
