Popularity and craze for Cricket is on rise in India. People irrespective of age and sex are made after cricket. But the recent disclosure of betting and match fixing has sent shock waves in the cricketing world.
IPL the (Kumb) of cricket is providing paradise for the underworld dons and their operators.
It is very strange that the politicians who are neck deep involved in corruption, scams demand banning IPL. But banning IPL is neither justified nor a good option.
In order to make the game clean, transparent and free from betting and fixing there is urgent need to enact strict laws against betting and fixing to punish those who indulge in such unlawful activities.
