JAMMU, Dec 18: Bee Enn General Hospital celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
The Hospital was established under Bee Enn Charitable Trust, by Founder Roshan Lall Bhalla and started functioning from 18th December 1996, to uplift the healthcare facilities in the state for our people.
The function was presided over by chief guest Dr Shashi Sudhan, Principal GMC Jammu. She unveiled the photograph of the Founder. She wished success and more milestones to be covered by the hospital, for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. Senior Consultants Dr SK Bali, Dr Anil Sharma, Dr KK Khanna, Dr Satya Dev and revered dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Kunil Bhalla Managing Trustee thanked the citizens for their trust, support and cooperation. He also thanked the Doctors and Frontline Health workers who have been associated with the BNGH over the years.
“Over this period of time, the hospital covered many milestones and was in forefront to bring in many specialties in Private Health sector. We were the first in bringing Laparoscopic surgery, established the first Blood Bank and Dialysis Unit in the private sector. Our Hospital was the first to bring in ICU and Neonatal ICU with centralised Oxygen and Suction plants for providing better facilities. Free Cleft lip and Palate surgeries are being performed at Bee Enn General Hospital in collaboration with Smile Train India for the last nine years. Till now more than 500 surgeries have been performed successfully and free of cost”, Bhalla informed.
More than 2000 Phaco/Cataract surgeries have been done free of cost at BNGH, he said, adding that free medical camps are being held on regular basis with free distribution of medicines. Free eye check up is also being done, he stated.
He informed that BNGH is in the process of starting Blood Component separation unit, Modular Operation Theatres and other projects.
