SRINAGAR, Aug 20: A man was attacked by a bear and killed on spot in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Police said that a bear attacked Nisar Ahmad Ahangar, 30 son of Sali Ahangar resident of Nagbal at Khanidajan, Charar-e-Sharief, Budgam and left him critically injured, who later died on the spot.
“He received sever injuries in the attack and died on spot. The body of deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites,” police said.
