SAMBA, Nov 27: The blacktopping of the road from the Polytechnic College of Samlah Panchayat of Samba district to village Pangwal was kick started today by Balwan Singh, vice president of the District Development Council (DDC) Samba.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwan Singh said that there was an old demand of the local people that black topping be done on this road and as the road had turned into potholes, the local people had to face a lot of problems. He said 17 lakh rupees will be spent on the work and the people of Samlah Panchayat will get a lot of relief after the black topping is completed. Prominent people including BDC Chairman, Ramesh Singh, local Sarpanch, Pritam Chand, Naib Sarpanch, Thodo Ram, Panch, Sat Pal and others were also present on the occasion.
