BD to take Chhari Yatra to holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi

JAMMU, Mar 16: Many historical and mythological yatras are conducted across the country by Bajrang Dal, the youth unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) every year and in this connection VHP -Bajrang Dal in Jammu-Kashmir, UT also conducts the holy Chhari Mubarak of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi on the auspicious occasion of Navratras.
Keeping the tradition alive the Chhari yatra will be taken to holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi on the occasion of coming Navratras also. This was stated by VHP J&K president, Leela Karan Sharma at a press conference here, today which was also attended by VHP Margdarshak Mandal member, Saint Danesh Bharti, VHP working president, Rajesh Gupta and other BD leaders.
The speakers said that Bajrang Dal is wedded to national service, security and keeping culture alive. By running historical and mythological tours it provides information about pilgrimage places to the Hindu society spread across the world and also encourages people to visit these pilgrimage places.
They said thousands of Bajrang Dal workers from all over the country participated in Shri Amarnath Ji’s yatra in 1996 regardless of the threat of terrorists with the result the yatra is going on smoothly every year since then. Similarly, in 2005, Baba Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra was started by Bajrang Dal in Mandi, Poonch, in which lakhs of devotees come from all over the country and visit Baba Budha Amarnath Ji.
At present this yatra continues throughout the year, they said. This holy abode of Baba Budha Amarnath Ji is situated on the border of India and Pakistan, they added.
They said that for the first time Bajrang Dal is taking out Chhari yatra of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji on the occasion of holy Navratras. Bajrang Dal workers should always be ready to protect the country, society and Hindus by awakening them for the national cause. The BD should also educate the people of worshipping the Goddess Durga and observing fasts on nine days of auspicious Navratras which have both religious and scientific significance.
Bajrang Dal State coordinator, Kartik Sudan, Apar Sharma, VHP Metropolitan president, Dr. S.S. Sambayal, Rajan Gupta, Bajrang Dal metropolitan coordinator Akhil Abrol, metropolitan co-coordinator Pawan Nargotra, Rajkumar etc. were also present.
