JAMMU, May 27: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has urged upon the Government to issue procedural guidelines by the DPIIT for the reimbursement of incentives under the package of Incentives-2021.
A meeting of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) was held today under the leadership of Lalit Mahajan in presence of other office bearers including Tarun Singla, Ajay Langer, Viraaj Malhotra, Rajesh Jain and Vivek Singhal besides other member to discuss the issue regarding the non issuance of Procedural guidelines in respect of Reimbursement of Capital Investment Subsidy, Interest Subvention on Term Loan, Gross GST Reimbursement for new units and Interest Subvention on the working capital for existing units as per the notification issued by Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India on Feb 19, 2021.
Members present in the meeting expressed their concern in respect of procedural guidelines not yet notified by the DPIIT pending since last one year as the Notification dated 19-02-2021 was effective from 01-04-2021 on the basis of which number of units already started the Production but not able to file the claims for the reimbursement of Incentives under the said Notification.
In respect of existing units as 31-3-2021, the Unit holders are not able to file the reimbursement claims of interest reimbursement for the period 2021-22 due to non issuance of requisite guidelines by DPIIT.
The BBIA requested the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce Department Vivek Bhardwaj to take up the matter with Piyush Goyal, Union Minister, Industry & Commerce Govt of India for the issuance of requisite guidelines for the reimbursement of Gross GST on quarterly basis and reimbursement of other Incentives in time bound manner.
