JAMMU, Apr 16: Joint Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), S R Samuel was felicitated by Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) here today.
Mr Samuel was here to review the progress on IID project which was sanctioned for upgradation of existing infrastructure, lanes, drains, street light system, water supply etc at Bari Brahmana Industrial complex.
During the interaction, Annil Suri, president BBIA and other members honoured the visiting Joint Development Commissioner and highlighted various issues related to the industrial sector which included further prioritization of different jobs to be undertaken in the already sanctioned infrastructure development scheme for Bari Brahmana complex. They also referred to the purchase reference to MSME sector in Govt of India Enterprises purchases, extension of incentives to service sector industries etc.
Mr Samuel assured for the upgradation of existing industries infrastructure. He also advised the entrepreneurs to take benefits of all MSME Schemes such as Cluster development, common testing facilities and national wards etc. A memento was also presented to Mr Samuel who visited two units. Varinder Sharma, Director MSME DI Jammu, Vikram Gupta GM, SIDCO, Dr Raj Kumar Thappa GM DIC Jammu were also present on the occasion.
