JAMMU: A fresh batch of 758 Shri Amarnath pilgrims today left from Yatri Niwas base camp here for the holy cave shrine in South Kashmir.
Chanting ‘bam bam bhole’, the pilgrims, comprising 474 males, 125 females and 95 sadhus, left in a cavalcade of 20 vehicles, including 5 Light Motor Vehicles and 15 buses, early this morning.
” The Yatra is smoothly progresssing on the highway,” a police official here said. (AGENCIES)
