JAMMU, Apr 26: Asserting that all out efforts will be made to provide all basic amenities at the doorstep of people, Minister of for State for Information, Culture and Education, Priya Sethi has said that process in this regard has already been set in motion.
Priya was speaking at a felicitation function organized by Hindustan United Front and Gali Guran Welfare Committee, at Kanak Mandi, here today.
Among others present on the occasion, Senior BJP leader, Yudhvir Sethi, Ex-chairman, Health and Sanitation, JMC Sanjay Mahey, Chairman Committee, Yash Pal, Vice President of Committee, Dinesh Arora and Ashwani Gandotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya said that Government is determined to refurbish the education system and efforts are on to further improve and upgrade the same, adding that two schools namely Ranbir Higher Secondary School and Sunjwan High School would be upgraded on modern lines and equipped with all modern facilities to make their functioning more effective. She added that infrastructural facilities would also be upgraded in other sectors for the convenience of people.
Yudhvir urged upon the people to come forward and avail the benefits of various welfare schemes meant for their emancipation.
Earlier, the Minister was felicitated by Mahavir Intl School and also included as honorary members by school management.
