SRINAGAR, Aug 20: Basharat Ahmad Dhar today took oath as Chairperson of the State Electricity Regulartory Commission (SERC).
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah administered oath to Dhar here this afternoon, an official spokesman said.
The Chief Minister wished success to Mr Dhar in his new assignment and hoped that he would shoulder the responsibility with the best of his capacity and calibre.
The State Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Abdullah last week, approved the appointment of Mr Dhar. (AGENCIES)
