JAMMU, Dec 16: BJP State Secretary and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor from Ward No-41, Sanjay Kumar Baru inaugurated various development works in the Ward, at Talab Tillo area of Jammu West Assembly Constituency, here today.
Councillor along with other senior political and social activists inaugurated the stage works including repair of lanes & drains, fixation of gratings and other small repair works as demanded by the residents of the area.
While speaking on the occasion, Baru said that the present works will be completed with the estimated cost of about Rs 5 lakh, with the works up to Rs 50 thousand for small repairs.
He said that the Ward residents were facing lot of difficulties due to the damaged lanes and drains, adding that the heavy rains added to the woes of residents.
Mr Baru further said that as the elected representative of the Ward, he always tries to communicate with the locals on his own initiative and advised them to always remain in touch for the quick redressal of all the genuine issues.
He also praised the former Minister, Sat Sharma for his endeavours towards the developmental works in the ward and whole Jammu West Constituency.
Baru, also took the liberty to ask the locals to contribute in unending efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in keeping their vicinity clean.
BJP Ward 41 President Ashok Singh Wazir, Jaideep Singh Sambyal, Brijesh Gupta, Jatinder Khajuria, Bubesh Thapa, Naresh Gupta, Bodh Raj, Babu Ram, Triloki Nath Handoo, Jangjit Singh, Dr Parmoo, GC Sharma, William Massi and others were prominent among others present on the occasion.
