Bari Brahmana police arrests 2 drug peddlers, seizes 20 gms of charas

SAMBA, Jan 14: Bari Brahmana Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 20 grams of charas form their possession today.
Police said during the patrolling a team of Bari Brahmana Police Station headed by Inspector, Darshan Singh, SHO, Bari Brahmana Police Station apprehended two persons who were moving under mysterious circumstances in the jurisdiction of Bari Brahmana Police Station. During their frisking police recovered 20 grams of Charas from their possession.
The duo was identified as Harijinder Singh, son of Sikander Singh and Ashwani Kumar, son of Mohan Singh. Both are residents of Channi Kartholi, Bari Brahmana and they were arrested by police and contraband items were seized.
The whole operation was conduct under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr Koushal Sharma and under the direct supervision of SDPO, Bari Brahmana, Sunil Kesar.
In this regard a case FIR No. 10/2019 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation is started.
