Bari Brahamna police unites missing boy with his family

JAMMU, July 24: District Police Samba reunited a missing boy from District Kathua with his family today.
Acting on information about wandering of a boy in the village Takkar under the jurisdiction of P/S Bari Brahmana, a police party of PS Bari Brahmana headed by SHO P/S Bari Brahmana traced the missing boy from the area and brought him back safely to Police Station. The missing boy seems to be  mentally retarded  who on questioning disclosed his identity as Sunny Singh, age 28 yrs ,S/o Janak Singh, R/O Sunnat, District Kathua.
SHO, PS Bari-Brahmana after strenuous efforts, worked out contact numbers of his family members who were later on called at PS Bari-Barhmana to identify the said missing boy.   After proper identification/verification, the missing boy was handed over to his elder brother namely Pritam Singh at P/S Bari-Brahmana who complimented the Police for its arduous efforts in tracing his missing brother. SSP Samba, Anil Magotra, KPS also appreciated the efforts of Police Party of PS Bari Brahmana in reuniting the missing boy with his family members.
