JAMMU, Dec 21: The notification for election of office bearers of Bar Association Jammu was issued today.
According to the notification issued by Returning Officer B S Slathia, who is also present president of the Bar, the election to the office bearers of Bar Association for the tenure of two years will be held on February 9, 2013 (Saturday).
The filing of nomination papers will commence from January 7, 2013 and last date of filling of nomination papers is January 10, 2013. The nomination papers will be put to scrutiny on January 12, 2013 and January 15, 2013 has been fixed as last date for withdrawal of nomination papers.
The Returning Officer has also constituted an election committee of five members namely Jaspinder Singh, Minu Koul, C M Sharma, S K Shukla and J P Gandhi.
