Bar Association urges UT Admn to resolve issues of JKMEF

JAMMU, June 8: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu has urged upon the J&K administration to resolve all the genuine issues of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF).
Addressing a meeting of the Association, which was held today to discuss the communication dated 08-06-2022 sent by J&K Medical Employees Federation, Jammu to the Bar Association seeking its support for the long pending demands of the Health employees, M K Bhardwaj (senior Advocate and president of the Bar Association) said that Government has constantly delayed, denied and avoided the genuine demands of the Health employees because of which their families have been struggling for their livelihood.
Bhardwaj urged upon the UT Administration to consider the demands of JKMEF Jammu which is struggling for the salary of Female Multipurpose Health Workers pending for the last five months, registration of Pharmacists under new Central Pharmacy Act and various other demands. He urged upon the Lt Governor to personally look into the matter of the poor who are serving in the Department for the last many years and entitled for salary every month.
The Bar Association president requested the UT Administration to disburse the back wages and other benefits in favor of employees who are rendering essential services to the public at large.
The meeting was attended by all the office bearers of the Bar Association namely Mohinder Pal Singh Pali (vice president), Surjeet Singh Andotra (general secretary), Aditya Sharma (joint secretary), Amandeep Singh (treasurer), Rohit Sharma (YLA president), Gagandeep Singh (vice president) and others.
