JAMMU, July 21: Bank of Baroda celebrated its 113th Foundation Day at its Gandhi Nagar branch.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Manager Rajesh Kachru said that this year the bank has decided to honour the Corona warriors.
He further told that these people are those unsung heroes who have been working since COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. When everybody was sitting at home, these persons were rendering essential services. Policemen and above all the doctors and nurses are working against all odds in order to contain the spread of virus. These people are fighting the deadly Coronavirus and as such are Corona warriors, he added.
To commemorate the celebrations, Bank of Baroda Gandhi Nagar branch in recognition of the services rendered by these unsung heroes, felicitated the medical fraternity on the occasion of the Bank’s Foundation Day.
The stand out guest was Dr Abhinav Sharma, esteemed customer of the bank, who is posted at COVID-19 Ward at Government CD Hospital and has been relentlessly attending to the Corona patients and rendering great service to the humanity.
