KATHUA, June 10: Two children were rescued from drowning in Sewa river at Bani by local people.
The alert local people noticed that two children who were taking bath in Sewa river slipped down into deep water and were about to drown. The people immediately rushed to river and rescued two children from the Sewa Nallah. The duo was identified as Ajay Kumar, 12, son of Omparkash Bhagat of Chaloge Banshka, tehsil Bani and Ladu, son of Purav of Basohli.
They were shifted to Bani hospital for treatment. As per statement of BMO Bani Dr. Radha Krishan the condition of both children is out of danger.
