KOLKATA, Mar 7: Natrang director, Balwant Thakur participated in Theatre Olympics Seminar- 2018 and presented his research paper ‘Time Historicity and Memory-three unities in context of theatre’ here this evening at the historic ‘Bichitra Bhawan’, Kolkata.
Balwant is the first theatre person from the State who participated in this prestigious event and presented a highly meaningful scholarly paper before the eminent theatre scholars of the country. Others eminent personalities who presented their papers included Sahtesh Alekar, Ananda Lal, Rashmi Vajpai, Sadanandan Menon, Amit Permeshhwaran, Angshuman Bhomik, Amitabha Roy, Ramanjit Kaur and Soumitra Basu.
