Bali visits flood hit areas of Raipur-Domana

JAMMU, July 15: Minister for Social Welfare and Forests, Bali Bhagat today conducted an extensive tour to his home constituency Raipur- Domana and took stock of the damages to the infrastructure due to flash floods and heavy rains a few days back.
The areas visited by the Minister included, Pattan, Keran, Keran Nallah, Thathar, Tube well station Kheri, Gaink, Kheri, Kangrail, Patoli, Doomi, Mishriwala, Raipur and reviewed the situation.
While interacting with the people of these villages, the Minister said that Government will take all necessary steps to provide compensation to all those who suffered due to flood havoc. He said the concerned department will carry out the survey to assess the loss at the earliest so that the compensation was made accordingly.
ADC, Jammu, Anuradha besides other senior officers of PHE, PDD, I&FC, R&B and Sarpanchs and Panchs of the areas accompanied the Minister.
