Bali visits constituency, takes stock of ongoing works

JAMMU, June 17: Former Minister and MLA Raipur-Domana Bali Bhagat today conducted an extensive tour of Raipur, Seri Panditan, Dar Darochan, Baran Panchayat and other areas of Raipur-Domana constituency and took stock of various ongoing development works.
During the tour, the former Minister inaugurated the platform of Raipur Pond which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 4 lakh out of Constituency Development Fund .
Highlighting the development works in Raipur-A Panchayat , Bali Bhagat said Rs 2.30 crore have been spent so far in Raipur-A Panchayat which includes Raipur-Kheri road which is constructed at a cost of 1.62 crores. He also said Rs 20 lakh out of CDF have been spent so far in Raipur-A Panchayat which includes 3 transformers.
Later the former Minister visited Seri Panditan where he dedicated 100 KV transformer to the inhabitants there. At Dhar Dharochan, Bali Bhagat announced a 63KV transformer and also directed Executive Engineer, PHE (Akhnoor) to submit the proposal and feasibility report of  new tube-well at Dhar Dharochan.
Stressing on strict adherence of timelines, the former Minister directed the concerned officials for proper utilization of resources in a time-bound manner to ensure holistic and sustainable development of the constituency.
Bali Bhagat stressed for ensuring transparency in the working and asked the concerned officers to submit the status reports regularly to his office. He asked the officers to adopt cost efficient methods for quality work and exhorted upon them for close monitoring of ongoing projects.
The former Minister was accompanied by Executive Engineer, EM&RE-III, Executive Engineer, PHE, Division Rural, Executive Engineer, PHE, Division Akhnoor and officials of Rural Development Department. Ex-District President BJP (Rural) Sukhdev Singh, Sarpanch Seri Panditan Shree Kerni, Joginder Singh, Ved Prakash Sharma, Kuldeep Chib were also present on the occasion.
