JAMMU, May 6: Health and Medical Education Minister Bali Bhagat has appealed to the people to pay for the diagnostic tests conducted in the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, saying the Government has already kept the charges as very meager.
Bali Bhagat today visited the GMC Jammu and paid for MRI and CT Scan tests conducted on him.
He said certain sections of society like BPL, militancy and border firing victims have already been exempted of the charges of diagnostic tests. He said other people should pay for the tests as it would help the GMC to maintain equipments.
