Bali tours Raipur-Domana, releases Rs 5 lakh from CDF

JAMMU, June 10: Former Minister & MLA Raipur-Domana, Bali Bhagat toured Raipur-Domana constituency and held a public meeting at Panchayat Bhadrore.
The former Minister interacted with the inhabitants there and listened to their grievances. Bali Bhagat released Rs three lakh for the development of Cremation Ground and Rs two lakh for Bathing Ghat out of CDF for Panchayat Bhadrore on the demand of people there.
The former Minister said that the Government during its previous two year stint had done a spade work and formulated a comprehensive programme to upgrade the basic services like drinking water, road network, health sector, electricity and these sectors will receive the utmost attention and people will get the improved services soon.
He said the tender process for upgradation of all internal roads in the Raipur-Domana constituency has been completed and work for their black-topping is underway and will be completed in a shortest possible time. Urging the people to become partner in the development process, the MLA said that people must come forward and monitor the activities on ground so that the quality assets could be ensured.
Later Bali Bhagat inaugurated 2nd free eye check-up medical camp at Pouni Chak organised by an NGO, Vaddeyan da Satkar, Ludhiana in association with Dr. K.D. Eye Hospital, Pathankot.
The former Minister exhorted upon the need for organizing more free medical camps throughout the State especially at rural and remote areas so that people could avail specialized medical consultancy at their doorsteps. Expressing gratitude to the organisers , the Minister applauded the efforts for organizing the camp and said that the initiative will go a long way in improving the health standards of the people.
The MLA was accompanied by Sukhdev Singh Jamwal,BJP Mandal Pradhan (Rural) Ved Prakash and several other workers.
