Balbir distributes face covers among people

JAMMU, May 7: Following the instructions of the administration not to be crowded during the ongoing lockdown, Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP) spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, gave home stitched cotton face masks to the people of his area by going house to house and advised that all citizens should support and cooperate the administration in its fight against the deadly virus.
Balbir Ram said that since social distancing is necessary to avoid getting infected by the Coronavirus, people should ensure that they do not gather and every one stays home to avoid this infection. “We should not unnecessarily go out as it will prove dangerous for our health as well as others”.
He said that since no effective medicine is available to be safe and secure from the infection of Coronavirus, it is better that the people take some precautions, so that they are not infected. He said that wearing face mask and frequent washing of hands are in the category of preventive precautions, which should be adopted by one and all.
Balbir said that the face mask or cotton face cover is not just a piece of cloth but a strong preventive wall between a person and the infection. The people should understand the importance and need to use face masks, he said.
