JAMMU, Dec 25: Bal Divas was observed at Bhagawaan Gopinath Ji Ashram Udaiwala Bohri as usual today.
The children irrespective of their religious and social barrier were presented with gifts and sweets by Ashram management on the occasion.
The function started in the morning with Bhagawaanji’s Aarti with children taking a lead. Dr Sushil Wattal welcomed the children and spoke at length on the life and teachings of Bhagawaanji and exhorted them to imbibe the qualities of “Sezar, Pazer and Shozar’’ (simplicity, truthfulness and purity) as emphasized by Bhagawaanji and he also spoke on the significance of observance of Bal Divas.
The Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust promotes Bhagawaan consciousness among the youth by organizing programmes such as Guru Geeta recitation competition, paining competition etc. During the course of observance of Bal Divas, children expressed themselves by reciting Gayatri Mantra, Bhajans, Dohe, patriotic songs, Maha Mritunjaya Mantra, Mata Ka Shalok etc. The children were presented with gifts on the occasion comprising f note books, pencils, candles, biscuits etc. The ambience was of festivity and jubilant all around.
