JAMMU, Oct 28: NC Minority Cell patron and MLC Vijay Bakaya inaugurated transformers in different areas today.
The funds for the same were provided from his CDF.
Mr Bakaya while addressing public meetings during inauguration of these transformers said that he is keen in development of the colonies where the people face problems of water, power, drainage and roads.
He said development of all colonies including those inhibited by migrants is the part of Government policy.
The public meetings were organized by NC Minority Cell led by its working president M K Yogi.
Mr Bakaya assured the gathering that Omar Abdullah led Government is looking forward for PM’s employment package, return and rehabilitation policy, promotions, HRA,CCA, traders problems and other burning issues of migrants. The demands of the migrants were also highlighted by the local leaders of these areas.
Yogi said that the Government has taken many steps for mitigating the sufferings of migrants especially the inmates of Jagti township and expressed the hope that the remaining issues will also be sorted out soon.
