Bajrangi Bhaijaan inches towards Rs 300 crore mark in China

NEW DELHI: After wowing the Indian box office, Bajrangi Bhaijaan continues to win the audience’s heart in China with the film inching towards the Rs 300 crore mark in the country.

In four weeks at the China Box Office, the film has won the audience’s heart with its beautiful and emotional story. The film is inching closer to the 300 crore mark.

At the end of its 4th week in China, its total collection stands at 44.44 million dollars (Rs 289.15 crores), on March 29.

Narrating the story of an honest young man out to help a little girl reach back home in Pakistan despite the political tension between the two nations, the film has managed to connect with a wide spectrum of people despite their cultural and ideological differences.

According to reports, Bajrangi Bhaijaaneven surpassed Dangal in terms of first-day collections, minting over 18 crores. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshali Malhotra in leading roles.

Dubbed in Chinese, the film was renamed ‘Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle’ and had a wide release on over 8000+ screens across China. The film was released during the Chinese Lantern Festival. (AGENCIES)
