Bajra remains weak on arrivals pressure

NEW DELHI, Oct 6: In restricted activity, bajra prices fell further by Rs 40 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on increased arrivals from producing belts.
Elsewhere, other grains moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased arrivals against reduced offtake by stockists mainly kept pressure on bajra prices.
In the national capital, bajra fell by Rs 40 to Rs 1,080-1,090 per quintal.

Wheat MP (deshi) 1,950-2,150, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,460-1,465, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,465-1,470, Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 200, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 200, Roller flour mill 810-830 (50 kg), Maida 900-910 (50 kg) and Sooji 970-1020 (50kg).
Basmati rice (Lal Quila) 9,500, Shri Lal Mahal 9,500, Super Basmati Rice, 9,000, Basmati common new 5,400-5,500, Rice Pusa-(1121) new 4,600-5,400, Permal raw 1,950-2050, Permal wand 2,200-2,250, Sela 2,450-2,650 and Rice IR-8 1,500-1,600, Bajra 1,080-1,090, Jowar yellow 1,275-1,300, white 2,100-2,300, Maize 1,250-1,260, Barley 1,275-1,290, Rajasthan 1,080-1,090.
