NEW DELHI, Dec 19: In restricted activity, bajra prices weakened by Rs 5 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
However, other grains including wheat and rice basmati moved in a tight range in scattered buying or selling and settled at last levels.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming industries against adequate stocks position helped bajra prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, bajra declined by Rs 5 to Rs 1,370-1,375 per quintal.
