NEW DELHI, May 2: Bajaj Auto today reported a 2 per cent increase in motorcycle sales at 2,91,898 units in April compared with 2,85,791 units last year.
However, Bajaj Auto’s exports declined 36 per cent during the month to 1,03,976 units from 1,61,598 units in the corresponding period a year ago, the two-wheeler major said in a statement.
In commercial vehicles category, Bajaj Auto’s sales during the month stood at 38,211 units, down 24 per cent as against 50,483 units in April last year.
The company’s total vehicle sales last month stood at 3,30,109 units, down 2 per cent, as against 3,36,274 units in the same month a year earlier, it added. (PTI)
