JAMMU, Apr 29: Third Additional Sessions Judge/ Fast Track Court, Y P Kotwal today rejected the bail application of Ashwani Kumar, who was involved in rape with a married woman.
“There is every possibility of accused jumping over the bail and hamper and tamper with the prosecution witnesses, who are yet to be examined”, the court said, adding “release of the accused at this stage will cause deleterious effect on the minds of general public and thwart the cause of justice”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
