JAMMU, Mar 8: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and former J&K Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad will head the Election Campaign and Election Management Committee in the Jammu and Kashmir for the forthcoming elections in the State.
A Congress spokesman said that All India Congress Committee president, Rahul Gandhi today announced a 9-member Election Campaign and Management Committee for the J&K State.
Senior AICC leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has been declared as the Chairman of the Committee while eight other members of the panel are-PCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Tariq Hameed Karra, Prof Saifuddin Soz, Tara Chand, Madan Lal Sharma, G M Saroori and Asgar Ali Karbalai.
