Azad expresses grief over loss of lives in Doda

JAMMU, Sept 25: Former J&K Chief Minister and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha (MP) Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed grief over the tragic death of five members of a family in massive landslide in Galli-Bhatoli area of tehsil Chilli-Pingal in Bhallessa area of Doda district.
Azad also expressed grief and sorrow over the accident in which four persons were killed and seven injured in a road accident when a passenger vehicle went out of the driver’s control and rolled down a deep gorge on Gangal-Bhalessa road in the hilly district Doda.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved families, Azad prayed to almighty for granting solace to the departed souls and courage to the family of the deceased to bear the loss.
Azad also urged the Government to take every possible measure to ensure that requisite relief is provided and necessary ex-gratia given to those who have lost lives in both the accidents.
